Semester 1
Class Klein has had an amazing and exciting first half of the year! After spending the first 6 weeks in the library, we were excited to get to move into the new classroom halfway through Term 1. We have been learning about sustainability and how to save the orangutans in a semester-long project which culminated in our National Klein News assembly item in Term 2 and the school raising funds to adopt an orangutan. We've been to the Rocks in the city for a walking tour excursion and got to dress up as convicts and soldiers, to Werrington Lakes for the Bush Trackers excursion and had Miss De Leon as a student-teacher in our class! There was also the discos, Snake Tails, the CARES excursion, and all the fun we've had learning inside the classroom too.
