Miss Vella is one of our wonderful kindergarten teachers in 2018.
Velocity Class have begun Kindergarten with a bang having been awarded the Secret Spy trophy at the very first K-2 assembly for 2018! We were all very proud to have the special trophy in our classroom for the whole week! We are continuing to practise our 5L's every day so we can earn the Secret Spy trophy back again very soon.
Class Organisation
- Library - Monday after recess.
- Chinese Lesson - Tuesday at 12:50pm.
- Scripture - Thursday at 12.30pm.
- Sport - Friday after recess.
- Fitness - Monday and Wednesday.
- Crunch and Sip - every day at 9.30am.
- Speaking and Listening Groups - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday at 10:40am.
- Homework - distributed and returned every day.
- K-2 assembly - Fortnightly on Fridays at 9:20am.
- Principal's Assembly - Weeks 5 and 10 Fridays at 9:20am.
- Assembly Items – Term 2 Week 4 and Term 2 Week 9.
Mathematics fun!
In mathematics, Velocity Class have had lots of fun creating patterns. We have used various shapes on the interactive whiteboard as well as coloured counters to create, continue and describe two-element and three-element patterns. Velocity Class have also been engaging in fun activities to learn about different ways of making 10!
